Refacing is a term used in remodeling where a new veneer or thin layer of wood is applied to the face frames and side panels of your existing cabinets. Old doors and drawer faces are replaced with new ones and in many cases new hardware, hinges and crown molding are added.

The Golden Rule Difference
At Golden Rule we use a custom-milled, wood material that is 3/16” thick. We take special care, installing each piece on the sides and fronts of your cabinets. With this thicker product, there is no lifting, peeling, or bubbling. Other refacing methods using thinner products do not wear well or stand the test of time.
Golden Rule also coats all products with conversion varnish. This type of varnish is top-quality and has an excellent durability rating as compared to traditional lacquers. Our finish is first-class, resistant to water, scratches, and comes with a 5 year warranty.
